The software developer Chaos Czech a.s., is part of Chaos Group, is pleased to announce the availability of Chaos Corona 10 HF1 for Autodesk 3ds Max and Cinema 4D. This hotfix addresses a few specific issues and is recommended for all Chaos Corona 10 users of 3ds Max and Cinema 4D to install this hotfix.

Chaos Corona 10 Hotfix 1 – Released on July 25, 2023

Fixes:
– Fixed freeze when using “Camera physical size” with UHD/4K cache
– Fixed an issue where using “Camera physical size” would sometimes cause object selection from VFB to fail
– Fixed CIE crash after deleting curve tonemapping operator in open editor
– Fixed a crash when creating regions during the pre-render stage
– Added legacy checkbox (Open Developmental/Experimental Stuff setting) to revert to pre-version 10 environment map filtering method. This is enabled by default if you load a legacy scene
– (3ds Max) Fixed an issue where Cosmos would freeze his 3ds Max if quickly closed after launch
– (3ds Max) Setting “Camera physical size” in a Corona 10 scene causes the Camera Physical Size setting to be set to 0 when opening a pre-Corona 10 scene later in the same session. Fixed an issue where the previous settings were inherited instead of (Because there was no such parameter before Corona 10)
– (Cinema 4D) Fixed Corona light and Corona proxy objects not rendering in normal rendering when instantiated using multi-instancing as part of a hidden instancing group.
– (Cinema 4D) Fixed an issue where the background color of the tonemapping panel in the Corona VFB was different than the rest of the VFB on some macOS systems
– Also updated the Corona installer image.
